Tossal de Miravet Via Ferrata

The Tossal de Miravet via ferrata is located in the town of Pont de Suert, in the La Ribagorza region. If you want to experience a sensation similar to that of a mountaineer, this is one of the best via ferratas for you. It is quite sporty, rated K4 in difficulty, and features two Nepalese bridges and a zip line, all of which can be skipped if you prefer not to cross them.

The route runs along the eastern slope of Tossal de Miravet, overcoming a series of rocky steps, including some overhanging sections. After each major step, there are escape routes that allow you to leave the route at the point you choose, without having to complete it all the way to the end.

The Tossal de Miravet via ferrata includes sections where the only holds are natural ones. In other words, you will make a series of moves similar to real climbing, with no metal rungs and no help other than what the rock wall itself provides. In some areas, small sharp rocks seem to support your feet, with a huge void on both sides — a very effective experience for dealing with vertigo.

The parking area is very convenient, with a grassy area next to the Noguera Ribagorzana River. After finishing the route, you can cross the Noguera Ribagorzana and go for a drink to recover your strength.
