Gurp Canyon

The Gurp canyon, or Gorgues de Gurp canyon in Gurp, is one of the best canyons in Pallars. It is located near the municipality of Tremp, Pallars Sobirà region, Lleida.

The Gurp canyon is 1,500 meters long with a vertical drop of about 200 meters. The best time to do this canyon is spring, as it almost completely dries up in summer.

It is a beautiful descent through a limestone canyon featuring incredible formations, unique flora and fauna, crystal-clear turquoise waters, rappels of different heights, some slides, and jumps.

Gurp is a very complete and fun canyon, of medium difficulty, with magnificent landscapes, suitable both for beginners and more experienced canyoners looking to improve their canyoning techniques. It has a narrow section where jumps come one after another, a perfect opportunity to test your courage and agility.
