The Sant Pere canyon is located in the Pallars Jussà region, at the gateway to the Collegats gorge, near the town of La Pobla de Segur.
The approach path leading to the start of the Sant Pere canyon has a long history full of legends. It is one of the old paths crossing the gorge, passing through a beautiful area with scents of lavender, pine trees, and stunning views of the Collegats canyon. A few minutes from the starting point of the descent, you will find the ruins of the old monastery of Sant Pere de les Maleses, located inside a rock cavity.
The Sant Pere canyon offers an easy and fun descent suitable for all audiences, perfect for beginners. It is an ideal canyon for the whole family. It features a 6-meter rappel inside a small cave, several jumps, and slides. There are also beautiful sections with abundant vegetation, corridors of conglomerate rock with many ledges and downclimbs.
