Núria Canyon, or Gorgas de Núria, located in Girona in the Núria Valley near the village of Queralbs, is possibly the most iconic canyon of the Pyrenees. It’s best done in August due to the spring water flow. The canyon offers countless launch-style slides (up to 18 m), exciting jumps (up to 15 m), engaging rappels (up to 25 m), handlines, and down climbs. Its cold, crystal-clear waters and high alpine scenery, carved into granite rock, will take your breath away.
This is a very sporty, aquatic, and technical descent, suitable only for experienced canyoneers with good physical fitness. The canyon is divided into two parts: the upper section (shorter and intense), and the lower section (longer and more technical). A full descent is also possible.
