San Poncio or Perles Canyon: F\u00edgols and Aliny\u00e0<\/span><\/h1>\n

To descend the San Poncio or Perles canyon in F\u00edgols and Aliny\u00e0, get in touch with us \u2014 it might be the best beginner-friendly canyon in the Alt Urgell region, also very close to the municipality of Coll de Narg\u00f3.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you’re looking to go canyoning near Organy\u00e0 or Coll de Narg\u00f3, Perles Canyon is right next door. It’s a well-formed limestone canyon, short, easy, and fun \u2014 with a great reward at the end.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Perles Canyon, which belongs to the municipality of F\u00edgols and Aliny\u00e0, begins just beneath a bridge that leads into a tunnel. The surroundings are impressive, surrounded by high rock walls popular for climbing.<\/span><\/p>\n

To start, you only need to walk 5 minutes to get below the bridge. You can leave your car at a small pull-off area on the road just before reaching the bridge or entering the tunnel toward Aliny\u00e0.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first section of the canyon is a beautiful 3-meter slide into a pool, which can also be jumped into or rappelled, depending on preference. The pool is deep but narrow.<\/span><\/p>\n

From there, you continue by scrambling and doing small rappels of around 2 to 4 meters until you reach the highlight of the canyon \u2014 at least in my opinion \u2014 a fully vertical 17-meter rappel directly into the Perles River.<\/span><\/p>\n
